Order Acceptance ( eCommerce only)

Hunts Office Furniture & Interiors Ltd shall sell and the buyer shall buy the goods subject in either case to these conditions.

The buyer is responsible for any specification and any related information given to Hunts.

The contract will not be valid until Hunts Office Furniture & Interiors Ltd confirms the order in writing.

Once the order is confirmed the buyer cannot terminate the contract except in cases where Hunts offer an agreement in writing thus indemnifying them from any loss or damages.

Property of the goods remains with the seller until full payment has been received by the seller. Until full payment has been received Hunts Office Furniture and Interiors Ltd may at any time recover the goods and may enter the buyer’s premises for this purpose. Nevertheless the risk in the goods passes to the buyer on delivery and the buyer shall promptly effect and maintain in the joint names of parties, insurance of the goods against loss or damage in their full invoice price until final payment.

All product specifications shown on our website our provided to us by our manufacturers and suppliers. We always strive to ensure that any information on the website is as timely and accurate as possible however Hunts Office Furniture and Interiors Ltd cannot guarantee the reliability or accuracy of the information contained within the pages of our website(s)

Many items that we sell feature wood or other natural finishes; these will more often than not have surface imperfections or other minor blemishes. This is an unavoidable feature of natural products and is something that most customers would find favourable. With wood items, the finish colour can vary slightly between items that are sold as the same finish and to a certain extent there can be variation between individual panels on a single unit. Again this is an unavoidable characteristic of natural products

Payment (eCommerce only)

We take payment from your card at the time we receive your order, once we have checked your card details.

The Price you see is the price displayed on the website at the time we receive your order. Whilst we will always try and ensure that all of our prices on our website are accurate error may occur. If we discover an error in the price of the goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price, or cancelling the order. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and we have already taken payment for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

Fraud checks may be conducted on our orders. This involves checks on details provided during the order process including address details. This may involve your details being passed to a 3rd party fraud checking company. On occasion we may ask for additional information in order to process your order. We will conduct this process as quickly as possible; however on occasion dispatch of goods may be delayed.

Goods are subject to availability In the event that we are unable to supply the goods; we will inform you as soon as possible. A full refund will be given where you have already paid for the goods.

Delivery and Collections

Collecting goods in person

If you have selected the "collect in person" delivery option when placing your order, You will be able to collect your products directly from Hunts Office Furntiure and Interiors Ltd showrooms located at West End Road, High Wycombe.

Delivery dates & Times

Any date and time indicated by the company for delivery is an estimate only and, whilst every effort will be made to deliver on time, the Company will not be liable for the consequences of any delay.

The Delivery Service

Our delivery teams will transport the goods to a room of your choice and remove all packaging. This service is generally reserved for fully assembled items and gives you the opportunity to to the check the item(s) for any signs of damage as you will be asked to sign that the item(s) have been delivered in perfect condition.

Please note that once you have signed for the goods you will not be able to to claim for damages afterwards, so we do advise that you take your time going through this process.

If you require assistance transporting your item(s) upstairs then you must ensure that suitable arrangements have been made prior to delivery. You may request that the driver gives assistance in transporting your goods, however this will be at the sole discretion of the driver. Should the driver agree to assist you in moving the goods upstairs then please note that any damage to your property is to be covered under a claim of your household insurance as we are unable to accept any liability for any damage to possessions or property during delivery.


Damages & Shortages

The customer shall be required to notify the seller of any delivery shortages within 48 hours of delivery, if a customer fails to notify the seller of any delivery shortages within this time frame, the customer shall be deemed to have accepted delivery of all products.

Unforeseen Circumstances

If in the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or error in pricing information from our suppliers or manufacturers, taxes or for any other unforeseen reason, we reserve the right to cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed. If your credit or debit card has already been charged and we subsequently cancel your order, we will of course issue a credit to the account of your payment method to the full amount paid for the cancelled items.

Force Majure

Neither party shall be liable to the other for any failure to perform any obligation under any agreement which is due to an event beyond control of such party including but not limited to any Act of God, terrorism, war, Political insurgence, insurrection, riot, civil unrest, act of civil or military authority, uprising, earthquake, flood or any other natural or manmade eventuality outside of our control, which causes the termination of an agreement or contract entered in to, nor which could have been possibly foreseen. Any party affected by such event shall forthwith inform the other party of the same and shall use all reasonable endeavours to comply with the terms and conditions of any agreement contained herein.

Guarantees (eCommerce only)

Guarantees given shall not be applicable outside mainland UK. Any guarantee given will be invalidated if the goods are subject to misuse or accident after the buyer has taken delivery. The Guarantee varies from product to product and we would be pleased to give this time period upon request.

Exclusions & Limitations

The information on this website is provided on an 'as is' basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hunts Office Furniture & Interiors Ltd:

Exclude all representations and warrantees relating to this website and its contents or which is or may be provided by any affiliates or any third party, including in relation to any inaccuracies or omissions in this website and/ or Hunts Office Furniture & Interiors Ltd literature; and

Excludes all liability for damages arising out of or in connection with your use of this website. This includes, without limitation, direct loss, loss of business or profits (whether or not the loss of such profits was foreseeable, arose in normal course of things or you have advised Hunts Office Furniture & Interiors Ltd of the possibility of such potential loss), damage caused to your computer, computer software, systems and programs and the data thereon or any other direct or in-direct , consequential and incidental damages.
