Although the planning team at CATS Cambridge had well-defined goals and ideas, they also wanted to gain new insights from experts who could expose them to a wider range of possibilities and successfully partner with them to realize solutions. CATS brought their aspirations to Hunts; working collaboratively over the next two years—their efforts resulted in a new campus, opened in September 2015—where every learning space was designed to meet the needs of a growing diverse student body.

Working with Russell Emmett and his team at Hunts Office Furniture to design, build and install all the office, classroom, recreational and residential furniture for our new college in Cambridge has been a pleasure. What I have appreciated most about working with Russell and his team is their ability to cut through the predictable politics of a project, keep everyone happy, and delivering the expected results and then some. Their understanding of what we needed, ensuring that it flowed and fitting it into the limited spaces we had was admirable. But more importantly the flexibility in their ability to handle my requests to change and manufacture additional items unplanned, as well as their ability to delay the delivery at my request.
