Creating a healthier office for Lonza, specialists in biotechnology.

Hunts helped design Lonza’s new workspace to reflect the values of the organisation, implementing key design features to inspire staff creativity and collaboration.

The main objective: Encouraging staff to feel comfortable returning to work following the pandemic.

Implementing agile-based work-stations with touch-down areas, project rooms for encouraging deep-work, soft-seating, and quiet working booths for focus time. The design had a focus on maximising the natural light within the premises in order to keep a light and airy feel to the workspace. The meeting rooms served as a practical anchor point within their location in the office, with new AV equipment designed to work the flexible layout in order to cater to different ways of working.
